What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept paypal or cheque.
How quickly can you write my press release?
In most cases, we're able to offer a 24 hour turnaround. If it's likely to take longer than this, we will advise you at the point of order.
How do I know if I have a good enough story?
It's very important to make sure you have the right angle for a press release. If you'd like free advice, please email info@hotigloo.co.uk. We can help you identify the right angle for your release.
If I don't have a good story, will you still write my press release.
We believe honesty is the best policy. If we really don't think your proposed press release is newsworthy, we'll tell you so, so that you can use your money to promote your business in some other way.
Who will you issue my release to?
We will develop a media distribution list especially for your business. For more information on this, visit our press release distribution page.
How many journalists will receive it.
This will depend on your industry and press release. If you're offering a very niche service, for example, your release will be likely to go to a smaller list than someone whose press release is of national or international interest.
Will you tell me who you've sent my press release to?
Absolutely. We will send you a copy of the distribution list once we have created it.
Will you give me the contact details of the journalists?
No. This information is kept private.
Will you follow up the release?
Our service offers writing and distribution only. We do not offer a follow-up service.
How will I know if my press release is published? Will you tell me?
At present we do not offer a cutting service, therefore we will only be able to tell you if anyone contacts us about the release, or if they contact you. If no one contacts you about the release, this does not necessarily mean that it has not been used, so keep an eye out to see if it appears.
Can you guarantee my press release will be published?
We wish we could! Unfortunately the only person who can do that is the editor of the publication you send it to. Professional PR from Hot Igloo gives you a better chance of having your release published: it is not, however, a guarantee.
