he history of the Hot Igloo website

Every website is a work in progress. It's important to be always thinking of ways to change and improve your site in order to add value to your visitors. Since our launch in April 2004, the Hot Igloo website has evolved from a simple flash design to the site you see today. Here's a look back at our previous site designs:

Our current site is our biggest ever, with 96 pages in total, plus newsletter sign-up and article database. The site is built in html and is a variation on the circle logo used previously. It also marks a return of the ice cube motif used in our earlier sites.

This site was built in html and CSS. With this design, we dramatically increased the number of pages on the site and moved from a page rank 3 to page rank 5. This was our first use of the circle logo, which was first developed for our monthly newsletter.

The homepage of our third site still used the igloo logo, with flash navigation.

As the site evolved and we started to expand into copywriting and editorial services, we added a number of HTML pages to the flash homepage, in order to help with search engine optimisation. This is one of the html pages we developed.

Our first ever site used a bold blue background with ice cube motif. Designed in Flash Macromedia, the design was simple and easy to navigate.
